Once again the beauty and brain of the Filipino prevail in the recently concluded Miss International 2016 held in Tokyo, Japan.  The Philippine’s bet Kylie Versoza bring home the 6th Miss International crown for the country.  Kylie Verzosa proves to everybody that she has beauty and brain.  I am praying that the country’s bet will be chosen as one of the semi-finalist.  Being in the semi-finalist is a big achievement knowing that there are lots of women who has beauty and brain hoping to bring home the crown and make their country proud.  But Kylie did not only make it to the semi-final, she did emerged as the queen of the night.  She bagged the crown and makes the country well-known internationally when it comes to beauty and brain.

Watching the live streaming of the pageant is nerve-racking, thinking that there are lots of beautiful women competing for their respective countries.  Even though, I am still hoping and praying that Kylie will bring home the crown.  She looks really beautiful and confidently showed to everybody that she has the edge to wear the crown.  She walks in the stage smiling and smart.  And on the final question and answer, Kylie Verzosa nailed it.  She answered the question really well.  She answered with the heart on why she is the perfect one to wear the crown and that she is ready to wear the crown.  And indeed she brings home the 6th Miss International crown for the country.  Kylie Verzosa crowned Miss International 2016.  Congratulations Kylie, congratulations Philippines!

The President in Action

He promised during the campaign period to serve the country and the people.  To make this country a better place to live for everybody and for the future generation.  These are some of the reasons the people of this country voting for him because people have seen the future in him.  His experiences in the local government makes him a better leader and his achievements makes him famous.  Now that he is the President of the Republic of the Philippines, people have high hopes that this country will rise again.  The people are counting on him, President Rodrigo Duterte.

The 16 millions votes he got during the election day won’t be wasted because he is the President in Action.  Even though he got many criticisms and some are dragging his name down, he still do his job as the leader of this country.  He does not care of those bad writes up, because his only care is for to serve the people and the country.  His campaign again drugs, criminality and corruptions are doing well too.  Just recently, he visited the areas affected by the typhoon Karen and sends the help to the victims.  He shows that he cares for his people.  And I do not know why some people (anti-duterte) does not see the goodness of his hearts.  I do not understand why others doesn’t accept him as the President of the Republic.  My only hope and pray that those Anti_Duterte will soon realize that he is a perfect leader.  Instead of criticizing, bashing, and making bad writes-up, we should give our support because he is doing his best for this country and the people.  He is a President in Action.

SONA 2016 (State of the Nation Address)

Today, July 25, 2016 is the day that the people of the Philippines are all been waiting for.  The State of the Nation Address (SONA) of the newly elected President of the country.  Many are excited to hear his plans for the country, how can he solve the issues that the country are facing today, especially in the West Philippine Sea, the issues about drugs, poverty, criminality and the likes.  The President is doing his best for the welfare of the Filipino people and for the good of our beloved country.  He promised to have a clean government and that I salute him.  He is willing to sacrifice his life for the people who believes and voted for him to become the leader of this country.  Change is really coming.

This is the first time that I am listening to the SONA of the President.  I must admit that I do not really care back then.  I do not know I just thought that the country has no future.  The leaders are just good in making promises to people but no action.  However, my thoughts changed because of the new leader of the country which happens to be the Mayor of the city where I live for two decades.  I can say that he is a good leader and he can do something to make this country a better place to live in.  He has the heart for the people and he has ears to listen to the grievances of his fellowmen.  God still favors us because he give us the best leader to our country.  God doesn’t want us to suffer.  He gave us a leader who can deliver and served the country and the people with all his heart.   Long live President Rodrigo Roa Duterte.

Summary killings everywhere

After the inauguration of the newly elected president of the country, there are several cases of summary killings in the country.  The dead body of the person has a note saying ” I am an addict/drug pusher don’t be like me“.  The killings are everywhere and makes the people scary.  What is more scary is that those incidents are blaming to the president.  This is because of his message when still running for the position of the president that if he will win, he will show no mercy to those people related to drugs.  If he has to kill them he will because those people are destroying the lives of the innocent individual.

I live in the city where the newly president lives and a mayor of the city for two decades.  I know that he is a good leader.  He makes sure that the people he serves lives in paradise.  He will give his 100% service for the welfare of the people.  And he will for sure can do that to the whole nation, to his country Philippines.  What lies behind this summary killing is unknown, let us not connect it to the president.  However, if this killings are under his command, well then, this is the start of cleaning the mess.  Also, this serves as a message to everybody that the president is not joking when he says, he will clean the country, free from drugs, will  go after the drug pushers, users, protectors, drug lords and the likes.  Prepare for the changes and for the better Philippines people.

One more week

The much awaited national election of the country will happen next week.  There are lots of issues are rising to drag the name of the certain candidate.  It is really sad because candidates are using black propaganda just to put dirt on the name of the certain candidate/s.  However, these issues are of big help to make the people know who is telling the truth and who is lying.  These will help voters in deciding who to vote.  The years of service in the government is not enough to vote a candidate/person, what is important is the tract record for it will tell on how good he/she will be as a leader of this country.

The candidates are busy campaigning in different provinces and cities in the country.  They are taking the remaining days of the campaign period.  I hope that by now people/voters have already decided who to vote.  Some have not decided yet, I pray that their decisions is for the good of the people and the country.  I also pray that God will enlighten the minds of the voters to vote wisely and not to sell their votes.  Because some candidates are willing to spend in buying votes to make sure their victory.  I pray that God will give the country a leader who will think of the benefits of the people and the country.  A leader that will think to improve the country.  Lastly, I pray that the country will have a clean and honest election. AMEN!
